March 2 – Learning Laws of Motion Second grade students participated in several different activities in the science lab using marbles, dominoes, pennies and other materials to help learn about Newton’s Laws of motion. 8th grade students assisted Science teacher Andrea Barnett with these fun activities. March 2 – Read Across America Day In celebration of the 107th Anniversary of Dr. Seuss’ Birthday our Lower School students ended their day with DEAR (Drop Everything And Read). They all gathered in the gym and curled up with a good book. View pictures

March 14 – Pi Day coordinated by Stefani Kovler, our Math Education Specialist, students in all grades participated in different activities to celebrate Pi Day. View pictures

March 21 – Shushan Purim From fulfilling the mitzvah of Matanot L’evyonim, to Purim plays, a costume parade and an interactive Drum Orchestra, there was an abundance of activities to celebrate Purim throughout the school. View pictures

March 30, 2011 – Our fourth graders traveled to the Golda Och Academy for a special program with the GOA fourth graders. The students participated in a series of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) activities. It was a great morning of hands-on learning, experimentation and discovery. View pictures
