February 1st, 2012 – Digital Learning Day
Today the students and faculty at Schechter celebrated Digital Learning Day by embracing technology. Teachers utilized the computer lab and SmartBoards to create a rich and exciting day of learning. Click here to view a slideshow from today.
February 8th, 2012 – Tu B’Shevat
This past week, each grade decorated a door to celebrate the Jewish New Year for the trees. In addition to the decorations, the students answered questions about their particular tree (1 tree per grade) and came up with creative ways to display the information. (i.e. Poems) Today, a panel of judges will evaluate the doors and select a winner, while each grade takes a tour from door to door to learn about the other trees.
