Welcome Message
Welcome to Solomon Schechter Day School of Raritan Valley, the central address for Conservative Jewish day school education in Middlesex and Mercer Counties, New Jersey. Our education program is a dual curriculum of general and Jewish studies, with an emphasis on Jewish values, Jewish living and achieving educational excellence.
Founded in 1981, Schechter prides itself on a 27-year tradition of partnership and collaboration between students, faculty, administration, parents, board members, and community leaders. Our exemplary faculty employ a variety of approaches to meet the needs of our students and their individual learning styles. Our coordinator of special needs and our guidance counselor are available to collaborate with teachers and students whenever necessary.
Our faculty and administration are eminently qualified professionals. Our administrative leaders have doctorates in curriculum and instruction, and many teachers hold graduate degrees and certification in a wide range of specialties.
